After his first year of college at the University of Costa Rica, Mynor hitchhiked his way through the war torn country of Nicaragua, the guerrillas in El Salvador, through Mexico and eventually all the way to British Columbia in Canada.
Since then he has traveled thousands of miles, not just in America but throughout the world experiencing more than 60 countries. He has worked or lived in Mexico, Colombia, Paraguay, many cities in the US, and Costa Rica. Today he makes his home between Columbia and Southern California.
More recently, he spent over a year traveling through several South America countries, navigating the rivers of several countries including Colombia and Venezuela until he finally accomplished his ultimate goal of navigating the mighty Amazon River from its beginning in Peru to its end at the mouth of the beautiful Brazilian Atlantic Coast.
